چکیده

We study how noise generates complex oscillatory regimes in the nonlinear thermochemical kinetics. In this study, basic mathematical Zeldovich–Semenov model is used as a deterministic skeleton. investigate stochastic version of that takes into account multiplicative random fluctuations temperature. our we use direct numerical simulation solutions with subsequent statistical analysis probability densities and Lyapunov exponents. parametric zone Canard cycles, qualitative effects caused by are identified investigated. Stochastic P-bifurcations corresponding to noise-induced splitting oscillations parametrically described. It shown such associated both amplitudes frequencies. Studying D-bifurcations, localized rather narrow parameter where transitions from order chaos occur.

Thermochemical water splitting cycles

Two processes to effect splitting of the water molecule by means of an external heat source are competing for adoption, for the long-term production of hydrogen: high-temperature electrolysis, and splitting the water molecule through a succession of chemical reactions: a thermochemical cycle. Both processes form part of a strategy of voluntary reduction of greenhouse-gas emissions, and of alter...

Limit cycles, noise, and chaos in hearing.

Based on insight obtained from a newly developed cochlea model, we argue that noise-driven limit cycles are the basic ingredient in the mammalian cochlea hearing process. For insect audition, we provide evidence in favor of the persistence of this principle. We emphasize the role of bifurcations for the emergence of broad-range sound perception, both in the frequency and amplitude domain, and i...

Noise-induced Hopf-bifurcation-type sequence and transition to chaos in the lorenz equations.

We study the effects of noise on the Lorenz equations in the parameter regime admitting two stable fixed point solutions and a strange attractor. We show that noise annihilates the two stable fixed point attractors and evicts a Hopf-bifurcation-like sequence and transition to chaos. The noise-induced oscillatory motions have very well defined period and amplitude, and this phenomenon is similar...

Noise-induced unstable dimension variability and transition to chaos in random dynamical systems.

Results are reported concerning the transition to chaos in random dynamical systems. In particular, situations are considered where a periodic attractor coexists with a nonattracting chaotic saddle, which can be expected in any periodic window of a nonlinear dynamical system. Under noise, the asymptotic attractor of the system can become chaotic, as characterized by the appearance of a positive...
