Can Spot Urinary Uric Acid/Creatinine Ratio Be Used as a Surrogate for Renal Scarring in Vesicoureteric Reflux?

Objective: Increased urinary excretion of uric acid has been shown to be associated with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR).
