Can Doctrinal Legal Scholarship Be Defended?

This review article investigates the question whether doctrinal legal scholarship can be defended. And it does so in light of a new book by Mátyás Bódig that sets out an epistemological defence this scholarship. The second half critically examines work, while first looks more generally at how is defined civil and common law traditions has traditionally been defended United Kingdom. One secondary considered any greater value, epistemologically, than astrology. sceptical as to defended, except providing assistance profession judiciary.
