CALCULATION AND TESTING OF A REINFORCED CONICAL BRIDGE BEAM

Introduction: The paper addresses the compliance of actual strength and deformation properties standard precast block (hereinafter — UPB 185.25) with design data. Purpose study: We aimed to check convergence experimental data for a reinforced concrete beam variable outline bottom chord assumptions. Methods: In course study, moments inertia at each section unit were taken averaged, in steps. Each was calculated separately. results then summed up. addition, values verified using finite element method MIDAS. Results: adopted assumptions based on test showed high confirmed terms stiffness, crack resistance, strength. control opening width acr = 0.2 mm achieved load 503.2 kg, which is 22.7 % higher than load.
