The research highlights the importance of applying new trends, such as Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, within organizations and institutions to solve strategic managerial decision-making problems. Based on this concept, a solution was developed for curricular follow-up process in Academic Direction Polytechnic State University Carchi; sense, quantitative methodologies Ralph Kimball's method were created storage analysis; ETL designed processing data obtained from databases integrated computer system. Finally, control panels through Power BI tool create dashboards. strategies applied deliver accurate information real-time, easy interpret, oriented satisfy institutional requirements academic area.
