Burnout and Job Satisfaction Among Islamic Religious Knowledge Teachers in Brunei Darussalam

This study aimed to identify the level of burnout (emotional desolation, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment) job satisfaction (job type, salary, promotion opportunities, supervisory, collea-gues) among teachers religious education in Brunei Darussalam (referred as IRK this study). involved 238 who are teaching Islamic Revealed Knowledge (IRK) subject all government secondary schools Darussalam. Instruments used for data collection, namely Mas-lach Burnout Inventory Job Descriptive Index (JDI). In study, results showed that is at a moderate which gives an indication most them were able control their emotions although career very challenging tiring. Another factor could contribute phenomenon high, especi-ally aspect colleagues. Hence, colleagues workplace affect teachers’ because they see supportive continuously give strong moral sup-port.
