Burnishing of AM materials to obtain high performance part surfaces

چکیده

Purpose: This paper aims to provide a flexible solution include additive manufacturing into process chain complying with Industry 4.0 pillars, overcoming major drawbacks in terms of reliability and experimental effort.Design/methodology/approach: The study is based on the combination real activities simulated ones.Findings: main findings this work consist validation proposed chain, which proves be effective flexibility (additive manufacturing, burnishing simulation acting synergistically), cost time reduction final output quality, encouraging customer involvement towards customization.Originality/value: contributes current research application process, an easy way implement environmental friendly post-processing method improve performance AM products, by providing unique perspective integrating reliable model. Other researchers can use these outcomes future.
