چکیده
Waste management is the main concern of most cities in developing countries. The proper procedure needed to reduce Municipal solid waste, that’s why burning cheaper way decrease waste. aim this study assess concentration Black Carbon and PM2.5 during MSW sites Jamshedpur. continuous measurement was taken period three phases at Industrial, Urban, Rural waste having respective average BC concentrations observed as 145 ± 46, 101 33 & 95 μg m−3, 1391 358, 998 319, 957 313 m−3. show significant diurnal variations with maximum midnight phase due large temperature fluctuation (lower mixed layer height) atmosphere. This evaluation exceeds regular day estimates by around 5–6 times. rate distinction Aethalometer model indicates that source apportionment more sensitive assessing BCBB (biomass burning) an fraction 82% 880 nm because trash dump yard mostly solid. Pearson correlation analysis shows strong correlations between primarily attributable well-known nearby sources such vehicular emissions.

[1] During a comprehensive aerosol field campaign as part of ISRO-GBP, extensive measurements of aerosol black carbon were made during December 2004, for the first time, at Kanpur, an urban continental location in northern India. BC diurnal variation is associated with changes in boundary layer mixing and anthropogenic activities. BC concentration in Kanpur is comparable to those measured in ot...
