چکیده
Graph burning is a process to determine the spreading of information in graph. If sequence vertices burns all graph by following process, then such known as sequence. The problem consists finding minimum length for given solution this NP-hard combinatorial optimization helps quantify graph’s vulnerability contagion. This paper introduces simple farthest-first traversal-based approximation algorithm over arbitrary graphs. We refer proposal Burning Farthest-First (BFF) algorithm. BFF runs $O(n^{3})$ steps and has tight factor notation="LaTeX">$3-2/b(G)$ , where notation="LaTeX">$b(G)$ size an optimal solution. main attribute that it better than state-of-the-art algorithms graphs, which report 3. Despite being simple, proved practical when tested some benchmark datasets.

Traversal Semantics in Object Graphs
Traversal through object graphs is needed for many programming tasks. We show how this task may be specified declaratively at a high level of abstraction, and we give a simple and intuitive semantics for such specifications. The semantics, while intuitive, requires existential quantification over all object graphs to represent the fact that during traversal we have only local knowledge of the g...
متن کاملBurning graphs - a probabilistic perspective
In this paper, we study a graph parameter that was recently introduced, the burning number, focusing on a few probabilistic aspects of the problem. The original burning number is revisited and analyzed for binomial random graphs G(n, p), random geometric graphs, and the Cartesian product of paths. Moreover, new variants of the burning number are introduced in which a burning sequence of vertice...

Graph reachability is a key problem in the study of various logarithmic space complexity classes. Its version for directed graphs is logspace complete for NSPACE(logn), and hence if proved to be in DSPACE(logn), the open question DSPACE(logn) = NSPACE(log n) will be settled. Seemingly the problem is easier for undirected graphs. In [1] it was shown to be in RLP (1-sided error, logspace, polynom...
متن کاملTraversal Graphs: Characterization and Efficient Implementation
Adaptive Programming (AP) provides programmers with a graph abstraction of their OO program’s structure (called a class graph) and encapsulates traversals and computation along traversals as adaptive methods. An adaptive method consists of a selector specification, called a strategy, that selects paths in the class graph, and a behavior definition with advice on nodes that are executed while tr...
