Bubble nucleation to all orders

چکیده
A bstract This paper extends classical results by Langer and Kramers [1–3] combines them with modern methods from high-temperature field theory [4–8]. Assuming Langevin dynamics, the end-product is an all-orders description of bubble-nucleation at high temperatures. Specifically, it shown that equilibrium non-equilibrium effects factorize to all orders — nucleation rate splits into a statistical dynamical prefactor. The derivation clarifies, incorporates, higher-order corrections zero-modes [9–11]. also be real in perturbation theory. are applied several models. As such, Feynman rules given; relevant power-counting introduced; RG invariance shown; connection effective action discussed, explicit construction propagators inhomogeneous background given. formalism applies both phase Sphaleron transitions. While mainly focused on theory, applicable finite-dimensional systems. Finally, as this assumes [4–7, 12–14], only hold within framework.

Summation and Renormalization of Bubble Graphs to All Orders
We introduce the 2PPI expansion which sums the bubble graphs to all orders. We show that this expansion can be renormalised with the usual counterterms in a mass independent scheme. We discuss its application to the O(N) linear σ-model.
متن کاملFluctuation corrections to bubble nucleation.
The fluctuation determinant which determines the preexponential factor of the transition rate for minimal bubbles is computed for the electroweak theory with sinΘW = 0. As the basic action we use the three-dimensional high-temperature action including, besides temperature dependent masses, the TΦ one-loop contribution whcih makes the phase transition first order. The results show that this term...

The transformation laws of the general linear superfield V (x, θ, θ) and chiral superfields under N = 1 supertranslations exp[i(ζ ·Q+Q · ζ)] are tabulated to all orders in the parameters ζ , ζ.
متن کاملAnomalies to All Orders
A distinguishing feature of the chiral and trace anomalies in gauge theory is that their coefficients can be determined to all orders of perturbation theory. My aims in this article are to survey the historical route leading to the discovery of this property of anomalies, and to review its current status. In the first part I discuss the nonrenormalization of the chiral anomaly, in its historica...
متن کاملElectroweak Bubble Nucleation , Nonperturbatively
We present a lattice method to compute bubble nucleation rates at radiatively induced first order phase transitions, in high temperature, weakly coupled field theories, nonperturbatively. A generalization of Langer’s approach, it makes no recourse to saddle point expansions and includes completely the dynamical prefactor. We test the technique by applying it to the electroweak phase transition ...
