Isospin dependent multi - fragmentation in 112 Sn + 112 Sn and 124 Sn + 124 Sn collisions
Significant differences in the relationships between fragment, neutron, and charged particle multiplicities were found between Sn+Sn and Sn+Sn collisions at 40 MeV/A. In this paper we explore the possibility to explain this phenomenon in the framework of percolation models, and find, that the results are only reproducible in part.
متن کاملIsospin dependent multifragmentation in 112 Sn 1 112 Sn and 124 Sn 1 124 Sn collisions
Percolation models have proven highly successful in the simulation of multifragmentation reactions in the past @1,2#. Within these models, fragmentation is described by first distributing a set of points or sites, each representing a nucleon, on a three-dimensional lattice, which represents the bonds between the sites. In the case of a simple rectangular lattice, each site is connected to six n...
متن کاملChandra OBSERVATIONS OF TYPE IA SUPERNOVAE: UPPER LIMITS TO THE X-RAY FLUX OF SN 2002BO, SN 2002IC, SN 2005GJ, AND SN 2005KE
We set sensitive upper limits to the X-ray emission of four Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) using the Chandra X-ray Observatory. SN 2002bo, a normal, although reddened, nearby SN Ia, was observed 9.3 days after explosion. For an absorbed, high temperature bremsstrahlung model the flux limits are 3.2 × 10 ergs cm s (0.5–2 keV band) and 4.1 × 10 ergs cm s (2–10 keV band). Using conservative model ass...
متن کاملDECOMPOSITION OF THE DIAGONAL ACTION OF Sn ON THE COINVARIANT SPACE OF Sn × Sn
The purpose of this paper is to give an explicit description of the irreducible decomposition of the multigraded Sn-module of coinvariants of Sn×Sn. Many of the results presented can be extended to S n , and analogous questions for other finite reflection group.
متن کاملSn 1979
VLBI observations at 5 GHz have revealed that supernova 1979C, in the galaxy M100 in the Virgo cluster, has shell structure. The shell is approximately circular with the 50% contour deviating from a circle by an rms of no more than 8% of the radius. The brightness distribution along the ridge may vary. The position of the center of the shell is at R.A.=12 h 22 m 58. s 66758 and decl.=15 • 47 ′ ...
