Due to the portability of devices and broad coverage Internet access provided by telecommunication carrier, usage mobile is not only limited personal matters but has also been used perform work-related tasks. The practice led emergence Bring Your Own Device ("BYOD") practice. BYOD become popular because companies can extend their confidence trust in employee, leading an efficient team human resources. arrival COVID-19 pandemic driven millions employees change working from being physically office adapting Work Home ("WFH") Unfortunately, shown its bias toward when there a violation employees' rights on hours privacy issues. Employees believe that current legal system Malaysia insufficient safeguard them against unfair practices. This study investigates using for work purposes worry regarding employee's data stored purposes. report suggests introducing Malaysian binding guidelines or policies include device definition standardise workplace. strategy critical protecting both employers policy at work.
