BRET analysis reveals interaction between the lysophosphatidic acid receptor LPA2 and the lysophosphatidylinositol receptor GPR55 in live cells

Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) and lysophosphatidylinositol bind to the G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) LPA GPR55, respectively. LPA2, a type 2 receptor, GPR55 are highly expressed in colon cancer involved progression. However, crosstalk between two potential effects on cellular physiology not fully understood. Here, using BRET analysis, we found that LPA2 interact live cells. In presence of both receptors, and/or activation facilitated co-internalization, uncoupled with G?i, induced reduction intracellular cAMP. Notably, co-activation synergistically triggered further decline cAMP level, promoted cell proliferation, increased expression progression-related genes, suggesting physical functional GRR55 is
