Breast-Conserving Surgery in a Young Man - Case Report

Accounting for less than 1% of all breast cancer cases, male (MBC) is a rare disease. Unlike female cancer, there are no randomized controlled trials to confirm the safety breast-conserving surgery (BCS). Additionally, patients have poor radiation therapy (RT) compliance after BCS, which raises concern about curative treatment this patients. Therefore, BCS used in these The authors report case 35-year-old with diagnosis neoplasm uncertain behavior (NUnBB) raised suspicion on imaging studies. He was submitted excisional biopsy lesion, and pathologist examination showed luminal B invasive carcinoma free margins. Due postoperative diagnosis, he axillary lymph node sampling that negative malign cells. final pathology staging pT1bpN0cM0. referred oncology consultation follow-up adjuvant chemotherapy, RT, monoclonal antibody, hormonotherapy. remains disease date, at 36 months follow-up. This describes patient treated good oncologic results highlights need build evidence-based research support recommendations MBC.
