Breaking the Stigma: Increasing Comprehensive HIV Knowledge to End Discrimination Against People Living with HIV

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that infects white blood cells and reduces human immunity. Meanwhile, acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) group of symptoms caused by HIV infection result in decreased According to UNAIDS data, the estimated number people living with Indonesia (2021) reach 540,000, approximately 200,000 being women girls, 19,000 children. In Indonesia, prevalence rate 0.3%, total 27,000 new infections each year. more complete up 26,000 died AIDS. When compared ten years ago, percentage 47%, but AIDS-related deaths increased 88%. Overall, cases fluctuates, on an upward trend. Nonetheless, Indonesian government committed helping world achieve its goal ending AIDS 2030.
