چکیده
Of tumor diseases in the global animal husbandry industry, greatest danger is bovine leukemia. Since last century, this neoplastic disease has remained relevant for veterinary medicine and, addition, more and questions arise concerning potential threat of Bovine leukemia virus (BLV) humans. The problem being discussed (G.Yu. Kosovskiy et al., 2016) which additionally stimulates both fundamental research pathogen pathology, as well methods detection to improve dairy cattle breeding safety. A number publications are devoted BLV prevalence, peculiarities, prospects improving health welfare based on selection vaccines developed world (S.G. Hopkins 1997; M.A. Juliarena 2017). In our report, we retrospectively compare experience eradication USSR, Russia abroad, focusing possible role occurrence cancer practice, serological tests, i.e., immunodiffusion (ID) assay agar gel enzyme-linked immunosorbent (ELISA) mostly used detect infection. G.C. Buehring al. (2019) reported proviral DNA blood leukocytes 38 % patients examined by PCR sequencing. IgG antibodies were detected 32 %, IgM â 58 IgA samples tested. Accumulated data indicate metabolic changes BLV-positive animals, e.g., disorder metabolism tryptophan, a critical essential acid, leading accumulation dangerous endogenous metabolites body. Particularly, free indole anthranilic acid increased level 4-8-fold deposited organs immune hematopoietic system (lymph nodes, spleen, liver), mammary gland, lungs, kidneys. It been established that milk leukemic animals differs from healthy cows terms physicochemical, bacteriological (lysozyme), technological parameters mineral composition. C57 mice fed with pasteurized heat-treated meat ID-positive cows, cell profile changed. Available drive unambiguous conclusion products derived BLV-infected pose an risk Despite lack convincing evidence pathogenicity humans, concerns about etiological occurance humans necessitates continuing control common oncogenic retro-virus livestock farms.

Dynamics of perinatal bovine leukemia virus infection
BACKGROUND Bovine leukemia virus (BLV) is highly endemic in many countries, including Argentina. As prevention of the spread from infected animals is of primary importance in breaking the cycle of BLV transmission, it is important to know the pathophysiology of BLV infection in young animals, as they are the main source of animal movement. In this work, we determined the proviral load and antib...
متن کاملPrevalence of bovine leukemia virus (BLV) infection in the northeast of Iran
The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of bovine leukemia virus (BLV) in Khorasan Razavi and Khorasan Shomali provinces which are the main provinces located in the northeast of Iran. Total number of 429 blood samples were collected from industrial dairy herds. The samples were categorized based on province, age (2-3, 4-6, and 7-10 years old), calving (≤ 2, 3-5, and > 5) and h...
متن کاملBovine immunodeficiency virus and bovine leukemia virus and their mixed infection in Iranian Holstein cattle.
INTRODUCTION Bovine immunodeficiency virus (BIV) and bovine leukemia virus (BLV) have worldwide distributions, but their prevalences in Iran are unknown. We investigated the presence of infections in Iranian Holstein cattle and determined changes in hematological values for infected animals. METHODOLOGY Nested PCR was used on blood samples from 143 animals Holstein cattle to detect proviral B...

BVDV is estimated to cost an average dairy between $20 and $160 per adult cow per year. These losses include medication and labor to treat acute infections, milk production losses in lactating cows, infertility due to decreased conception and early embryonic death, abortions, loss of weak, abnormal, or persistently infected calves. Large scale herd outbreaks such as occurred in the early 1990s ...
متن کاملA Serological Study on Bovine Leukemia Virus Infection in Ten Provinces of Iran between 2010 and 2012
Background and Aims: Bovine leukaemia virus (BLV) is an oncogenic member of the genus Deltaretrovirus of the family Retroviridae. BLV is the causative agent of enzootic bovine leukaemia and infects cattle worldwide, imposing economic impact on the dairy cattle industry. The purpose of this study was to estimate the seroprevalence of BLV in cattle in some provinces of Iran. Materials and Methods...
