چکیده
Chromolaena odorata Linn is considered an environmental weed that traditionally used as a treatment of numerous conditions such wound healing functions and amelioration inflammation. In this study, linn was discovered alternative natural product mosquitocide. Based on the results gathered obtained stem, leaves, roots are proven to be effective use rather than using only one part plant. Furthermore, data shows it took small amount time kill mosquito all parts extract. The mosquitocidal activity had shown its potential significance, eco-friendly, cost-effective with presence botanical phytochemicals (alkaloids, cardiac glycosides, anthocyanin, tannin, flavonoids) source controlling population Keywords: potency, mosquitocidal, chromolaena Linn, mosquitos.

OBJECTIVE To investigate mosquitocidal effects of ethanolic extract of flowers of Tagetes erecta (T. erecta) and its chloroform and petroleum ether soluble fractions against the larvae of Culex quinquefasciatus (Cx. quinquefasciatus). METHODS The fresh flowers of T. erecta were extracted in cold with ethanol (5.0 L) and after concentration, the ethanol extract was fractionated with chloroform...

In this paper, the researchers investigate the vegetative growth of Chromolaena odorata and the infl uence of light intensity on the understorey environment of Shorea robusta forest at Chitwan in south-central Terai, Nepal. C. odorata is a clonally growing shrub and typically consists of several clones with an underground “cormous organ” (a modifi ed stem to store food reserve; here after “corm...
متن کاملHemostatic and Wound Healing Properties of Chromolaena odorata Leaf Extract
Chromolaena odorata (L.) King and Robinson (Siam weed) extract has been used to stop bleeding and in wound healing in many tropical countries. However, its detailed mechanisms have not been elucidated. In this study, we examined the molecular mechanisms by which Siam weed extract (SWE) affected hemostatic and wound healing activities. SWE promoted Balb/c 3T3 fibroblast cell migration and prolif...
