چکیده
Introduction: Myocardial protection is one of the key points during cardiac surgery. Inadequate myocardial in cross-clamping period an issue concern Cardioplegic solutions improve tolerance ischemia and reperfusion by preserving energy reserves, preventing osmotic, electrolyte imbalances acidosis. Warm blood cardioplegia (WBC) has had a profound impact, especially coronary artery bypass surgery there have been many studies that compared it with Cold crystalloid (CCC). A good will be reflected on patients outcome, postoperative ICU strategy, morbidity mortality as well. Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP), Troponin I (TnI) Lactic Acid LA) are very significant biomarkers reflects adequate organ perfusion/protection. The purpose this study to determine if warm offers any advantages comparison CCC Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) based primary variations BNP, TnI Acid. Patients method: 60 disease (CAD) Surgery (CABG), were retrospectively randomized two groups 30 different techniques protection: group CCC, B (WBC), according Calafiore [1] protocols). Intraoperative variables used assess outcomes. Results: This found benefits clinical outcome after CABG Keywords :Myocardial protection, Cardiac surgery, Cardiopulmonary Bypass, Calafiore, Cardioplegia, DOI: 10.7176/ALST/95-02 Publication date: November th 2022

Myocardial protective effect of warm blood, tepid blood, and cold crystalloid cardioplegia in coronary artery bypass grafting surgery.
AIM To compare the myocardial effects of cardioplegia by warm blood, tepid blood, and cold crystalloid during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). METHODS Patients undergoing CABG surgery at Kaunas University Hospital between 2000 and 2004 were randomized into three groups (n=156), receiving a different method of cardioplegia. Intermittent antegrade warm blood cardioplegia was used in 51 p...
متن کاملCold crystalloid versus warm blood cardioplegia for coronary artery bypass surgery.
PURPOSE Intermittent cold crystalloid cardioplegia by antegrade route to arrest the heart for coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is a commonly used technique. The aim of this study is to compare the intermittent antegrade warm blood cardioplegia with cold crystalloid cardioplegia by means of measuring myocardial injury markers CKMB and troponin T. We also compared the results with antegrade...
متن کاملRandomized trial comparing intermittent antegrade warm blood cardioplegia with multidose cold blood cardioplegia for coronary artery bypass.
Forty patients were randomized to receive antegrade multidose warm (WBC) or cold blood cardioplegia (CBC) during coronary artery bypass. Cardioplegia was infused at a predetermined dose every 10 min during cardioplegia arrest and core temperature was maintained at 37 degrees C in both groups during extracorporeal circulation. Patient profiles were similar in the two groups. Cardiac index, left ...
متن کاملCold crystalloid cardioplegia.
Cold crystalloid cardioplegia is clinically used since the mid-1960s. It is currently applied in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery patients and remains the preferred method of myocardial protection for many cardiac surgeons. This chapter gives a brief overview about the technical aspects of cold crystalloid cardioplegia application in the operating room.
متن کاملEndothelial Injury Associated with Cold or Warm Blood Cardioplegia during Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery
The aim of this investigation was to analyze the impact of intermittent cold blood cardioplegia (ICC) and intermittent warm blood cardioplegia (IWC) on endothelial injury in patients referred to elective on-pump coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Patients undergoing CABG procedures were randomized to either ICC or IWC. Myocardial injury was assessed by CK-MB and cardiac troponin T (cT...
