چکیده
The investigation was expected to assess various mineral mixture supplementation impacts on Brahman crossbred cows' blood biochemical, hematological profiles and pregnancy rate. This study used ninety cows divided into three dietary treatment groups (n = 30/group). treatments were: Concentrate rice straw only as control treatment; diet + A-formulation MM-A B-formulation MM-B treatment. concentration of (including calcium, phosphor, cobalt, copper, sulphur, potassium, zinc, manganese, magnesium, sodium, selenium iron) higher than MM-A. added 0.5 kg/100 kg diet. concentrate mix were restricted 3 20 kg/day (as-fed basis). Feeding conducted until four months. Blood sampling estrous synchronization carried out after weeks treatments. aimed equate the cycle each cow by using 25 mg prostaglandin F2α (Lutalyse™) (injection via intramuscular). Estrous signs observed two days synchronization. Artificial insemination at ten twelve hours from detection, inseminated with post-thawed frozen Belgian Blue bull sperm. Transrectal palpation diagnose cow's 90 artificial insemination. serum samples analyzed for hematology status. results showed that significantly increased (p<0.05) iron. There no significant differences in glucose, total protein, albumin, cholesterol, triglyceride, creatinine, uric acid, urea nitrogen profile. rate (20.7%) (6.67%) (3.33%). It concluded improved several components Crossbred cows.

Effects of Supplement Type on Growth and Pregnancy Rate of Yearling, Brahman-Crossbred Heifers
The effects of winter supplement type on growth and pregnancy rate of fall-born, yearling heifers was investigated over 2 consecutive years. During both years, heifers were stratified by breed (Braford and Brangus-crossbred) and BW and randomly assigned to one of two treatments consisting of (1) wheat middling-based range cube, or (2) molasses-cottonseed meal slurry (n=34 and 24 heifers/treatme...
متن کاملFertilization rate and early embryonic loss in Brahman crossbred heifers.
The fertilization rate and incidence of embryonic loss in virgin Brahman crossbred heifers between d 3 and 35 postinsemination (d 0 = first day of estrus) were determined. One hundred fifty-five virgin heifers, maintained in a dry lot, received approximately 22 Mcal.head-1.d-1 and were allotted to one of three groups (d 3, 16 or 35) according to body weight at the time of estrous detection. Sev...

The objective of this study was to evaluate, over 2 consecutive years, the effects of acclimation to human interaction on performance, temperament, plasma concentrations of hormones and metabolites, and pregnancy rates of Brahman-crossbred cows. A total of 160 Braford and 235 Brahman x British cows were assigned to the 2-yr study. Approximately 45 d after weaning (August 2006) in yr 1, cows wer...
متن کاملCalving traits of crossbred Brahman cows are associated with Heat Shock Protein 70 genetic polymorphisms.
Stress proteins and their genetic polymorphisms have been associated with decreased male and female fertility. Objectives were to: (1) identify single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) located in the promoter region of the bovine heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) gene, and (2) evaluate associations between Hsp70 SNP, Julian calving date, and calving rates of crossbred Brahman cows. Specific primers we...

Background: Expansion of bone marrow cavity and decreased cortical and trabecular bone tissues and osteoporosis are resulted from beta-thalassemia. The aim of this study was to assess bone mineral density (BMD) in patients with β thalassemia major and intermedia, and to determine their biochemical and hormonal profiles that may affect BMD. Materials and Methods: In a cross sectional study from ...
