چکیده
Emerging communication networks are envisioned to support massive wireless connectivity of heterogeneous devices with sporadic traffic and diverse requirements in terms latency, reliability, bandwidth. Providing multiple access an increasing number uncoordinated users sharing the limited resources become essential this context. In work, we revisit random (RA) problem exploit continuous angular group sparsity feature channels propose a novel RA strategy that provides low high bandwidth all-in-one package. To end, first design reconstruction-free goal-oriented optimization problem, which only preserves information required identify active devices. solve this, alternating direction method multipliers (ADMM) derive closed-form expressions for each ADMM step. Then, clustering algorithm assigns specific groups from can stationary by their angles. For mobile devices, minimization recover data channel gains simultaneously, allows us users. Simulation results show significant performance user detection false alarm probabilities as compared state-of-the-art schemes, even preambles. Moreover, unlike prior proposed blind does not depend on

QoS Provisioning Techniques for Future Fiber-Wireless (FiWi) Access Networks
A plethora of enabling optical and wireless access-metro network technologies have been emerging that can be used to build future-proof bimodal fiber-wireless (FiWi) networks. Hybrid FiWi networks aim at providing wired and wireless quad-play services over the same infrastructure simultaneously and hold great promise to mitigate the digital divide and change the way we live and work by replacin...
متن کاملIntelligent medium access control for the future wireless networks
Medium access control (MAC) in wireless ad hoc networks has received considerable attention for almost a couple of decades; however, there are still open problems which deserve thorough study in order to facilitate migration to the next generation broadband wireless communication systems. In ad hoc networks, a detected frame collision can be due to the so-called unreachability problem, where th...
متن کاملGigabit/s Wireless over Fibre Systems for Future Access Networks
We aim to assess the feasibility of wireless over fibre systems that can operate at millimetre-wave frequencies for delivering gigabit/s wireless data to portable or fixed customer units. We have demonstrated the error-free transmission of 1 Gbit/s D-BPSK signals over 2.2 km of single-mode fibre and over 2 metres of RF cable in the 40 GHz band.

This paper presents an architecture and protocol in support of proactive mobility for future IP Wireless Access Networks (IP-WANs). It encompasses a novel approach for seamless handoff and proactive relocation of IP roaming state. The latter establishes a generic substrate for proactive state relocation of different context classes relating to the state of IP connectivity for a mobile node (MN)...
متن کاملMulti-channel Medium Access Control Protocols for Wireless Sensor Networks: A Survey
Extensive researches on Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have been performed and many techniques have been developed for the data link (MAC) layer. Most of them assume single-channel MAC protocols. In the usual dense deployment of the sensor networks, single-channel MAC protocols may be deficient because of radio collisions and limited bandwidth. Hence, using multiple channels can significantly ...
