Blended Learning for English Speaking Skill Activities: Students’ Perspective

The purpose of this study is to investigate students’ perspectives on learning speaking skills using blended learning. This was conducted in one the public junior high schools East Belitung. A narrative inquiry approach used collect personal accounts during teaching and process. To obtain interview data, as recommended by teacher, six 8 th -grade students were involved. results showed that learning, learned both face-to-face at school asynchronously home. They explained how they learn speak home with help technology. think positively about activities felt made them more confident, independent, flexible speak. In addition, offers a time so feel their are better than before. However, disadvantages especially when it asynchronous, problem poor internet connection cost packages devices.
