چکیده
Bismuth-based catalysts have emerged as promising materials for efficient electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide due to their unique electronic and catalytic properties. In this work, we present a new type hybrid nanomaterials compositing partially reduced oxide Bi particle into metallic anchored on 3D network Cu foam high-performance catalyst CO2 conversion formate. electroreduction in neutral condition with high durability has remained challenging. One the main stability problems is susceptibility surface oxidation, which can cause deactivation during reactions. Under proper bismuth growth control, herein, our strategy preparing Bi/Cu demonstrated performance formate faradaic efficiency more than 90% great 50-h operation at an applied current density 50 mA cm–2 environment. The fine nanostructures resulted available active sites conductivity substrate its selectivity.

Effects of cobalt precursor on pyrolyzed carbon-supported cobalt-polypyrrole as electrocatalyst toward oxygen reduction reaction
A series of non-precious metal electrocatalysts, namely pyrolyzed carbon-supported cobalt-polypyrrole, Co-PPy-TsOH/C, are synthesized with various cobalt precursors, including cobalt acetate, cobalt nitrate, cobalt oxalate, and cobalt chloride. The catalytic performance towards oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is comparatively investigated with electrochemical techniques of cyclic voltammogram, ...
متن کاملThe Electroreduction of Carbon Dioxide on Porous Copper Nanoparticles
Copper nanoparticles of porous, controlled structure were synthesized using the sacrificial support method (SSM). The precursor weight percent (wt%) of copper (Cu) and fumed silica (EH-5) was varied to determine the optimum ratio for this material. The precursors were reduced at i) 350°C in a 7% H2 atmosphere and ii) at 250°C in a 100% H2 atmosphere. The specific surface areas of the nanopartic...
متن کاملMetallic tin quantum sheets confined in graphene toward high-efficiency carbon dioxide electroreduction
Ultrathin metal layers can be highly active carbon dioxide electroreduction catalysts, but may also be prone to oxidation. Here we construct a model of graphene confined ultrathin layers of highly reactive metals, taking the synthetic highly reactive tin quantum sheets confined in graphene as an example. The higher electrochemical active area ensures 9 times larger carbon dioxide adsorption cap...

The selective reduction of sulfur dioxide with carbon monoxide to elemental sulfur was studied over ACsupported transition-metal oxide catalysts. According to the study, Fe2O3 /AC was the most active catalyst among the 4 AC-supported catalysts tested. By using Fe2O3 /AC, the best catalyst, when the feed conditions were properly optimized (CO/SO2 molar ratio = 2:1; sulfidation temperature, 400 ◦...

A new non-precious metal oxygen reduction catalyst was developed via heat treatment of in situ polymerized polyaniline onto TiO(2) particles in the presence of Fe species. The TiO(2) provides for improved performance relative to a carbon black-based catalyst and, at a high catalyst loading, allows for reducing the performance gap between non-precious-metal catalyst and Pt/C to ca. 20 mV in RDE ...
