چکیده

Zinc oxide (ZnO) synthesized with natural reductants has attracted the attention of researchers because it is environmentally friendly and non-toxic. In this study, ZnO was prepared using Sandoricum koetjape (S. koetjape) peel extract. An aqueous extract S. used as biological reduction agent for synthesis from zinc nitrate hexahydrate. The powder obtained annealed at different temperatures i.e, 300°C, 400°C, 500°C 1 hour. Structural, morphological, optical properties, functional groups samples were analyzed X-Ray Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared respectively. X-ray diffraction pattern shows that pure hexagonal wurtzite structure particles can be achieved after annealing. crystal size also increased increasing annealing temperature. SEM photo demonstrates transformation particle spherical to microflower due widest absorption peaks in spectrum occurred 500°C. bandgap energy increases 3.08 eV 3.20 eV. FT-IR analysis confirms O-H group been decomposed process. Based on biosynthesized requires process improve purity, enhance light absorbance change microstructure ZnO.

Ichthyotoxic and anticarcinogenic effects of triterpenoids from Sandoricum koetjape bark.

After bioassay-guided fractionation of the extract from Sandoricum koetjape bark, which exhibited significant toxicity to killifish (Oryzias latipes), two ichthyotoxic triterpenoids were isolated and characterized as koetjapic acid and 3-oxo-olean-12-en-29-oic acid. These constituents, along with non-toxic katonic acid, had a remarkable inhibitory effect on Epstein-Barr virus early antigen (EBV...
