Biosynthesis of Iron Nanoparticles from Pleurotus florida and its Antimicrobial Activity against Selected Human Pathogens

In the present investigation, iron nanoparticles were synthesized by using mushroom extract. The production of from P. florida was initially confirmed color changes brown to dark within 30 min at 60° and further characterized Ultraviolet-Visible spectroscopy scanning electron microscope with Edax. biosynthesized subjected antimicrobial activities showed higher zone inhibition against Candida glabrata followed Micrococcus mucilaginosus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, albicans, Klebsiella terrigena, K. pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, sp., Bacillus cereus Staphylococcus aureus. This extract as effective microorganisms which well comparable standard antibiotics. study has recommended that mushrooms have great potential act safe alternative antibiotics fight challenges drug discovery.
