چکیده
Abstract The aim of this study was passive biomonitoring the mountains southern Poland. Lichens Hypogymnia physodes were used for study. Concentrations heavy metals Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb determined in these lichens. concentrations measured by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). analysis lichen thallus allowed to determine places with highest lowest contamination a given metal area. It shown that area Great Czantoria Big Soszow is most contaminated among investigated areas. shows transport analytes wind from distant emission sources, low-level (coal burning), traffic have greatest influence on level atmospheric aerosol pollution

Lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic are the most important heavy metals which may cause health risks following consumption of contaminated foods. Table salt is one the mostly used food additive with unique place in food consumption. Although purified table salt is expected to have lower level of contamination, some Iranians still prefer to use rock salt. Use of rock salt for food purposes has be...

متن کاملContamination profile of heavy metals in marine fish and shellfish
Rapid industrialization along with advanced agricultural activities led to the contamination in aquatic environment with heavy metals. Heavy metals ultimately pass into human body through having aquatic animals like fish, prawn and crab. In this study, accumulation of heavy metals (zinc, copper, iron, cadmium and lead) in various organs of four commonly consumed fish (Euthynnus affinis...
متن کاملContamination of barberry with heavy metals in the vicinity of Qayen Cement Company, Khorasan, Iran, in 2014: A Case study
Background: Soil pollution and accumulation of heavy metals in crops in industrial areas is one of the most important environmental issues threatening the life of plants, animals, and humans. The aim of this study was to determine the concentration of Cr and Cd in the soil and barberry plants in farms surrounding the Qayen Cement Company, South Khorasan Province, Iran. Materials and Methods:...
