چکیده

Abstract Chitosan biological macromolecule is a versatile polymer; chemical modification has been carried out that lead to the formation of chitosan grafted polymers composites (Chito-g-PC). We proposed synthesis six various Chito-g-PC as sorbents for toxic dyes. A novel graft copolymerization method based on radical polymerization with vinyl monomer like acrylic acid, acrylamide, N -isopropylacrylamide, methacrylic acid and polyacrylonitrile were utilized in order address large amount swelling at four different pH buffers solution. The effect initiator concentration, time temperature % grafting efficiency performed. Comparative characterization Chito evaluated by SEM, XRD FTIR, well solubility characteristics determined buffer Cationic dyes Malachite green (MG) Methylene blue (MB) selected sorbet, used biosorbents. Thermodynamic analysis showed sorption process was spontaneous endothermic an increased randomness. experiments realized MG MB pH.

Study of adsorption properties of anionic dyes on graphene oxide/chitosan composite porous microspheres

Dyes wastewater produced during leather processing caused serious environmental pollution. Anionic dyes are always vital crisis in waste treatment. Removal of anionic dyes from tannery wastewater before their discharge into the environment is important for health and environment safety. The use of low-priced and biodegradable adsorbents could be a good method to minimize the environmental impac...

Chitosan Gel Sheet Containing Polymeric Micelles: Synthesis and Gelation Properties of PEG-Grafted Chitosan

Wound-dressing sheet biomaterials can cover wound sites and enhance wound healing. In this study, a detailed evaluation of the factors affecting both the PEG modification percentage (PMP) in poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG)-grafted chitosan synthesis and the gelation properties of PEG-grafted chitosan was presented for constructing our novel hybrid hydrogel sheet consisting of PEG-grafted chitosan (...

PEG Molecular Net-Cloth Grafted on Polymeric Substrates and Its Bio-Merits

Polymer brushes and hydrogels are sensitive to the environment, which can cause uncontrolled variations on their performance. Herein, for the first time, we report a non-swelling "PEG molecular net-cloth" on a solid surface, fabricated using a novel "visible light induced surface controlled graft cross-linking polymerization" (VSCGCP) technique. Via this method, we show that 1) the 3D-network s...
