Bioinformatics-based prediction and screening of immunogenic epitopes of Toxoplasma gondii rhoptry proteins 7, 21 and 22 as candidate vaccine target

IntroductionToxoplasmosis is a well-known zoonotic disease caused by Toxoplasma gondii. The main causes of the range from eating undercooked or contaminated meat and shellfish to cleaning litter trays into which cats that excreted toxoplasma via faeces. This pathogen can live for very long time, possibly lifetime, within bodies humans other animals.Aims objectivesThis study aimed predict analyse candidate immunogenic epitopes vaccine development evaluating physio-chemical properties, multiple sequence alignment, secondary tertiary structures, phosphorylation sites, transmembrane domains, signal peptides, T. gondii rhoptry proteins ROP7, ROP21, ROP22 using bioinformatics tools.MethodsTo proteins, numerous web servers were used containing physiochemical antigenicity allergenicity, post-translational modification sites (PTMs), screening predicted epitopes. We evaluated linear B-cell as development.ResultsNine identified each protein, analysis immunogenicity, revealed three one four ROP22. Among all epitopes, contained most with immunogenicity score 0.50575.ConclusionWe acquired detailed information on in-silico methods. results provide foundation further experimental toxoplasmosis, potential development.
