Biogeography, inventory and new data on reptiles of M’sila region, Algeria

This study is the first contribution to evaluation of reptile diversity in different habitats M’sila region, Algeria. We carried out 94 trips between 2016 and 2018 across three sites: Mergueb (six stations), L’mhazem (three stations) Kaf Afoul (two on average, accompanied by prospectors. Our aims were make an inventory reptilian species this as well their diversity, distribution, ecology abundance. Altogether, we recorded 193 specimens belonging 22 species: two turtles, one amphisbaenian, twelve lizards seven snakes. Two classified Near Threatened IUCN recorded: Uromastyx acanthinurus (Bell, 1825) Daboia mauritanica (Duméril & Bibron, 1848).
