چکیده

Abstracts: Despite the many services that natural rubber provides to humanity, its production generates significant quantities of polluted effluents which have a negative impact on health and environment. In order reduce this pollution allow water be reused after treatment, synthetic effluent treatment trial was carried out in submerged membrane bioreactor presence two strains yeast (Yarrowia lipolytica, Pichia guilliermondii) biodegradation parameters (COD, NH4+, NO2-, NO3-) were followed. The Mohlman Index (MI), particle size distribution, Lowry method for proteins Dubois sugars made it possible characterize sludge generated during biodegradation. It appears from these experiments reduction rate COD 98% nitrification denitrification 90%. There is decreasing linear relationship between MI SS (Suspended Solids) with an R2 95%. distribution tri-modal maximum having average 1000 µm. formed resists filtration polysaccharide/protein ratio 0.45.

Hollow Fiber Membrane Bioreactor for COD Biodegradation of Tapioca Wastewater

The present work studied the application of membrane bioreactor (MBR) for tapioca wastewater processing that contained chemical oxygen demand (COD) ranging from 4000-9000 mg/L. A preliminary study was initially conducted in order to evaluate membrane performance with respect to its flux with MLSS concentration ranging from 4,500 to 10,500 mg/L. It was clear that fouling was observed during the ...

The Study of Organic Removal Efficiency and Membrane Fouling in a Submerged Membrane Bioreactor Treating Vegetable Oil Wastewater

The characterizations of vegetable oil wastewater (VOW) are unpleasant odor, dark color, and high organic contents, including large amounts of oil and grease (O&G), chemical oxygen demand (COD), fatty acids and lipids. Therefore, VOWs should be treated efficiently to avoid the environment pollution. The aim of present study was the investigation of VOW biological treatment using membrane biorea...

The Performance of Submerged Membrane Bioreactor Treating High Temperature Wastewater

Membrane bioreactor technology represents the most rapidly growing membrane technology in the water sector. In recent years, MBR technologies have been playing a very important role in water and wastewater treatment. MBRs are used to treat a wide range of municipal and industrial wastewaters. MBR integrates membrane filtration with biological degradation system of waste products. It is defined ...

Decolourisation of textile wastewater in a submerged anaerobic membrane bioreactor.

Azo dye decolourisation can be easily achieved by biological reduction under anaerobic conditions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the applicability of submerged anaerobic membrane bioreactors (SAMBRs) for the decolourisation of dyeing wastewater containing azo dyes. The reactive orange 16 was used as model of an azo dye. The results demonstrated that very high decolourisation (higher tha...
