چکیده

Azo dyes are widely used in the textile industry. The release of these undesirable dye effluents to environment can be toxic and carcinogenic towards humans other organisms. removal dyestuff wastes using biodegradation method is consider eco-friendlier compared physical chemical methods. Thus, this study was conducted identify analyze activity azo by potential bacteria isolated from effluent. For decolorization analysis, were inoculated into flasks containing mineral salt medium added with Reactive Green 19 (50 mg/L) incubated for 9 days at 37°C. Spectrophotometry analysis carried out 635 nm level degradation. From we found that optimum pH, temperature, concentration detected pH 7, 37°C, 50 mg/L, respectively. identified Pseudomonas aeruginosa showed 94% after incubation. result bacterial strain biological treatment

Biodegradation of Textile Azo Dyes by Bacteria Isolated from Dyeing Industry Effluent
Water pollution caused by industrial effluent discharges has become an alarming trend worldwide, while textile industries are considered as the most polluting among all others. In recent years, bio-treatment took attraction in removing the unwanted colour and toxicity of textile effluents than other conventional treatment processes. The present study concentrates in the isolation and identifica...

The study was investigated the decolorization potentials of certan selected microbial species (bacterial) to an actual textile dyeing industry effluent. All the microbes tested namely (bacterial) Bacillus sp, pseudomonas sp, Acineto bacter, Legionella and Staphylococcus (bacterial) showed greater potential in decolorizing the dye effluent. Bacterial decolorization of textile effluents were crit...
متن کاملBiodecolorization and Biodegradation of Azo Dye Reactive Orange-16 by Marine Nocardiopsis sp.
Background: Azo dyes are xenobiotic compounds that have bioaccumulated in the environment due to escalated industrial development. These are hazardous in nature, possessing carcinogenic and mutagenic effects on human beings. Objectives: The perspective of the present study was to isolate and to determine azo dye (Reactive Orange-16) degrading potential of...
متن کاملBiodegradation of Reactive Dye Reactive Violet 5 by Bacteria Isolated from Dye Contaminated Soil
The Pseudomonas aeruginosa GSM3 isolated from dye contaminated soil was able to degrade Reactive Violet 5 completely as a sole source of carbon (300 mgL) within 20 h under static condition. The organism exhibited good decolorization ability in the pH ranges from 5.0 to 9.0 and temperature from 30 to 40C respectively. The optimum degradation was observed at 37C and pH 7. The maximum concentratio...
