چکیده
Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) and chili pepper (Capsicum annuum are commonly cultivated by farmers, in some cases, both crops grown together intercropping systems. The main pathogen infected cocoa is the Phytophthora sp. fungus, which causes fruit rot, stem cancer, leaf blight, while Colletotrichum anthracnose plants. ability of endophytic bacteria to inhibit growth fungi bacterial pathogens well known. In this study, biocontrol against fungal was tested, a preliminary test also observed examining their potential inhibition on Chromobacterium violaceum called antiquorum sensing test. Endophytic were isolated from plants, plants that showed symptoms rot anthracnose. A total 34 isolates successfully obtained, with 10 leaves (DK), 12 branches (RK), roots (KA) plant ICCRI 4. Sixteen quorum ability, AHL degradation index ranging 0.44 – 1.56. Antagonistic tests 11 out 16 had strong antibiosis sp., zones 0.6-1.35 cm. Meanwhile, antibiotics clear 0.6 1.1 three best combination C. RK 11, KA 1, 8. [Keywords: antagonist, ahl lactonase, beneficial microorganism]

Antibacterial Azaphilones from an Endophytic Fungus, Colletotrichum sp. BS4.
Three new compounds, colletotrichones A-C (1-3), and one known compound, chermesinone B (4a), were isolated from an endophytic fungus, Colletotrichum sp. BS4, harbored in the leaves of Buxus sinica, a well-known boxwood plant used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analyses including 1D and 2D NMR, HRMS, ECD spectra, UV, and IR, as...
متن کاملEndophytic Nocardiopsis sp. from Zingiber officinale with both antiphytopathogenic mechanisms and antibiofilm activity against clinical isolates
Novel and potential antimicrobial compounds are essential to tackle the frequently emerging multidrug-resistant pathogens and also to develop environment friendly agricultural practices. In the current study, endophytic actinomycetes from rhizome of Zingiber officinale were explored in terms of its diversity and bioactive properties. Fourteen different organisms were isolated, identified and sc...
متن کاملBiocontrol activity of endophytic fungus of barley, Microdochium bolleyi, against Gaeumannomyces graminis var. tritici
In this study, two isolates of genus Microdochium (W2 and B26) was isolated from the roots of healthy barley plants in agricultural fields from Kermanshah province in 2014 and were identified as Microdochium bolleyi based on morphological and molecular characteristics. Dual culture studies revealed that W2 and B26 inhibit 45% and 20% of the radial growth of Ggt in tur...

The effect of five fungicides and tea extracts was tested against anthracnose disease and leaf spot of Azalea during summer (2015) at the laboratory in Rasht Branch, Islamic Azad University. Commercially formulated fungicides at 1000, 2000 and 3000 ppm concentrations and the regression of normalized growth rate were used to determine the EC50. The application of different fungicides on Pestalot...
متن کاملBiocontrol potential of Trichoderma Sp. against plant pathogens
Forty two strains of Trichoderma sp. were isolated from cultivated lands around Bangalore and analyzed for their antagonistic potential against Sclerotium rolfsii and Fusarium ciceri. The potential of biocontrol agents ultimately lies in their capacity to control pathogens in vivo. Bioefficacy studies were hence conducted using chickpea (Cicer argentums c.v. Annigeri) as an experimental plant b...
