Biochars in Iron Ores Sintering Process: Effect on Sinter Quality and Emission

The article presents results of the research on use chars produced during pyrolysis residual biomass as a substitutional fuel in iron ore sintering process. Such an approach allows to implement circular economy and industrial symbiosis steel branches. effect substitution conventional coke breeze used final sinter quality emission was examined. With regard productivity, consumption, properties it shown that share tested biochars may be kept at 10, up 30 wt.%, depending biochar type. It observed with biochars, content oxide decreased, which advantageous.
