چکیده
Plantation by-products can be used as livestock feed with proper processing, optimizing the efficiency of palm kernel cake (PKC), empty oil bunch (EOPB), and acacia sawdust (AS). This study aimed to improve usability byproducts alternative through Pleurotus ostreatus fermentation process. To this end, a 3×3 factorial, completely randomized design was applied. Factor A type substrate, P1 = PKC, P2 EOFB P3 AS. B period, T1 0 d, T2 30 d T3 60 d. The collected data were analyzed using analysis variance (ANOVA), significantly different result further tested Duncan Test. observed variables include Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), hemicellulose, pH value, dry matter digestibility (DMD), organic (OMD), N-NH 3 , volatile fatty acids (VFA). showed that P.ostreatus mushroom in various substrate types did not affect fraction NDF, ADF, Hemicellulose. also found interaction duration affects digestibility, production, VFA values. concluded P. ostreotus increased nutritional value by- product from plantation processing. best PKC have highest fermentation.

Effects of Pure and Mixed substrates on nutritional composition, minerals and growth of Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) were studied in present study. Results of the study revealed that the total protein content, ash, crude fiber and crude fat were higher in the mushroom harvested from mixed substrate (23.64, 8.17, 0.90 and 2.93%nrespectively) than that of the pure substrates (21.02, 3.40...
متن کاملOstreolysin enhances fruiting initiation in the oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus).
Fruiting initiation in mushrooms can be triggered by a variety of environmental and biochemical stimuli, including substances of natural or synthetic origin. In this work ostreolysin, a cytolytic protein specifically expressed during the formation of primordia and fruit bodies of Pleurotus ostreatus, was applied to nutrient media inoculated with mycelium of P. ostreatus, and its effects on myce...

The edible mushroom Pleurotus ostreatus has been studied as a potential crop to reduce agricultural solid wastes and increase mushroom production. P. ostreatus cultivated on various agricultural wastes singly i.e. rice straw (RS), rice husk (RH) wheat straw (WH), barley straw (BS), and cotton wastes (CW). The biological efficiency (B.E) was 25.61, 9.51, 22.6, 21.628 and 25.78 % while rounding u...

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different levels of osmotic pretreatments prior to drying and different drying methods on nutritional quality of dried mushroom slices. The experiment consisted of sun, solar, and oven drying after dipping the slices in salt solutions of 5 and 10% concentrations for 50 minutes, the control being untreated mushroom sample. Significant differenc...

Cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus on different substrates such as rice straw, rice straw + wheat straw, rice straw+ paper, sugarcane bagasse and sawdust of alder was investigated. All the substrates except rice straw were supplemented with 10% rice bran. The substrate without supplement was considered as control. The effects of various substrates on mycelial growth, colonization time, primordi...
