BIM-based immersive collaborative environment for furniture, fixture and equipment design

چکیده

One of the most critical issues related to current application virtual reality during design appraisal is inability have a collaborative environment where group geographically remote stakeholders can interact and communicate effectively in real-time. This paper addresses this shortcoming by proposing furniture, fixture equipment (COFFEE) that allows concurrent multi-users interact, collaborate virtually interior furnishings facility The testing proposed system among various construction (n = 26) demonstrate usability functionality showed high degree acceptance as result improved visualisation, multi-user communication, collaboration environment. In practice COFFEE expected assist make informed decisions create shared understanding before commencement activity.
