In current river management, we very often use environment-friendly hydraulic structures when it is required for bed or bank protection due to erosion of a channel. Block ramps are one many methods used stabilize beds. They provide semi-natural solution certain engineering problems in mountain streams. When building block ramps, can the dissipative behavior large rock blocks boulder elements randomly placed on enhance fish migration an upstream direction; thus, they serve as passes. this paper, present results numerical modelling load transport and morphological changes where ramp was designed built. The main aim study investigate difference 2D along stream reach with comparison classical Hjulström, Shields, Russian standard ST-24-2396. work carried out chosen low-head structures, 25 identical were constructed training reasons. novel approach our is, first time field, show detailed analysis influence sediment morphology compared understanding those phenomena, well model give engineers inside look into modern approaches calculations.
