"Battle of narratives" in Ukraine's modern media space

The paper explores strategic communications in Ukraine's media space. Strategic as a system of multi-vector interaction with society have proven to be connected range relevant and socially important issues, acting the most effective technology building information defence amid intense hybrid aggression ensuring country's cognitive resilience. Typical anti-Ukrainian narratives undermine main political reference points affect society's stability. analysis narrative realizations confirms that belong post-truth. These reflect chaotization world image: irrationality, emotionality, evaluation, expressiveness, persuasiveness replace objectivity rationality. study determines features establishes grand system. claims "battle narratives" representing struggle different behavioural models exists All central Ukrainian (or narrative), identity narrative, while majority pro-Ukrainian promote idea people nation. An inevitably engenders counter-narrative aims at deconstructing or delegitimizing previous narrative's its variants') effect on target audience. A creation mechanism does not entail symmetry; objective is reprogram call action block recipients' motivational potential.
