Battery Protective Electric Vehicle Charging Management in Renewable Energy System

The adoption of grid-connected electric vehicles (GEVs) brings a bright prospect for promoting renewable energy. An efficient vehicle-to-grid (V2G) scheduling scheme that can deal with energy volatility and protect vehicle batteries from fast aging is indispensable to enable this benefit. This article develops novel V2G method consuming local in microgrids by using mixed learning framework. It the first attempt integrate battery protective targets GEVs charging management systems. Battery safeguard strategies are derived via an offline soft-run process, where modeled as constrained optimization problem based on estimated microgrid states. Meanwhile, online regulator built facilitate real-time GEVs' charging. extreme machine (ELM) algorithm used train established rules strategies. coordination realized ELM sampled frequency. effectiveness developed models verified U.K. actual generation consumption data. effectively promote mitigated, thus economically benefiting EV owns operators, facilitating decarbonization at low costs.
