The school as a microcosm of the society in which it is situated diverse society. Heterogenous classrooms pose challenge to teachers. Teachers have work hard overcome posed by teaching learners with learning needs. Overcoming this calls for teachers be creative, dexterous, and innovative applying differentiated instruction. study sought investigate basic understanding use adopted descriptive survey research design. A stratified sampling technique was used sample 95 teachers, comprising 44 private 51 public Data collected using Differentiated Instruction Assessment Questionnaire. were analyzed statistics. Results indicated that who participated did not good knowledge instruction its application classrooms.
