چکیده
Abstract Concentration of particulate matter constitutes a major, environmental problem affecting human health especially in urban areas. Although research centers and government agencies have air quality monitoring systems installed, their limited number prevents the spatiotemporal analysis EU funds projects to engage citizens for issues. The aim is involve install low-cost measuring stations develop wider network retrieve accurate information about quality. use sensors arise questions reliability measurements. It known, that particles concentration measurement are affected by humidity temperature. Several models been proposed remove impact temperature on particle’s measurements but barometric pressure under investigation. In this work, an extensive study performed aftermath corrective factors relation it. pilot were installed next high cost official month calibrate sensors. Herein, model multiple linear regression presented confirm importance correction, with ultimate goal being optimization particle measured values.

Low cost air quality monitors to evaluate nanosized particulate matter. A pilot study
Particulate matter is defined as a mixture of airborne solid particles and liquid droplets that can be inhaled and may cause serious health problems. Such elements are currently measured utilizing air quality monitoring devices that provide information on PM 10 and PM 2.5 levels giving information on pollution levels. However, many difficulties are encountered in the determination of nanosized ...

متن کاملDistributed, Low-cost Particulate Matter Sensing: Scenarios, Challenges, Approaches
The observation and control of particulate matter (PM) pollution in ambient air is increasingly being recognized as an important topic in societies across the globe. Classic measurement approaches provide accurate daily means but are static, expensive and suffer from low spatial resolution and high latency. Distributed measurement grids using real-time capable instrumentation not only can provi...
