چکیده

The backscattering cross section of cylindrical and elliptical disk-shaped scatterers was investigated in this study, utilising a new numerical solution method called the relaxed hierarchical equivalent source algorithm (RHESA). results were compared with similar cases, using analytical validation from literature. objective research to look into possibility replacing methods RHESA volume scattering calculations, integrating it modelling layers dense media for microwave remote sensing vegetation; as provides freedom model any shape scatterer, opposed limited shapes available models. demonstrated good match, indicating that may be fit more complicated media, such vegetation, future studies.

Coherent backscattering of light by nonlinear scatterers.

We theoretically study the propagation of light in a disordered medium with nonlinear scatterers. We especially focus on interference effects between reversed multiple scattering paths, which lead to weak localization and coherent backscattering. We show that, in the presence of weakly nonlinear scattering, constructive interferences exist in general between three different scattering amplitude...

Wave Backscattering by Point Scatterers in the Random Paraxial Regime

When waves penetrate a medium without coherent reflectors, but with some fine scale medium heterogeneities, the backscattered wave is incoherent without any specific arrival time or the like. In this paper we consider a distributed field of microscatterers, like aerosols in the atmosphere, which coexists with microstructured clutter in the medium, like the fluctuations of the index of refractio...

Coherent Backscattering of Light with Nonlinear Atomic Scatterers

We study coherent backscattering of a monochromatic laser by a dilute gas of cold two-level atoms in the weakly nonlinear regime. The nonlinear response of the atoms results in a modification of both the average field propagation (nonlinear refractive index) and the scattering events. Using a perturbative approach, the nonlinear effects arise from inelastic two-photon scattering processes. We p...

Mapping local orientation of aligned fibrous scatterers for cancerous tissues using backscattering Mueller matrix imaging.

Polarization measurements are sensitive to the microstructure of tissues and can be used to detect pathological changes. Many tissues contain anisotropic fibrous structures. We obtain the local orientation of aligned fibrous scatterers using different groups of the backscattering Mueller matrix elements. Experiments on concentrically well-aligned silk fibers and unstained human papillary thyroi...

Relaxed Differential Fault Analysis of SHA-3

In this paper, we propose a new method of differential fault analysis of SHA-3 which is based on the differential relations of the algorithm. Employing those differential relations in the fault analysis of SHA-3 gives new features to the proposed attacks, e.g., the high probability of fault detection and the possibility of re-checking initial faults and the possibility to recover internal state...
