Bacille Calmette-Guerin Lymphadenitis - A Case Report

A 6-month-old child presented with a complaint of swelling in the left axillary region persisting for 3 months, accompanied by intermittent episodes fever. Ultrasonography revealed hypoechoic lesions affected area. Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) indicated presence Acid-fast bacilli. Given multiple matted suppurative lymph nodes, surgical excision was performed, and initiated on anti-tubercular treatment (ATT).
