چکیده
ABSTRACT: Mammary neoplasia represents the most frequently diagnosed type of in bitches. Although surgical removal is procedure choice for therapeutic management, chemotherapy protocols appear as important allies and adjuvants. Despite great advances that have occurred field cancer therapy, systemic repercussions these drugs still impose limitations on their use. In this sense, development increasingly targeted preventive monitoring patients represent strategies to avoid possible complications - among them, Acute Kidney Injury (AKI). Routinely, ultrasound evaluation used identify morphological or metastatic variations abdominal cavity organs. Acting complementary B-mode evaluation, Doppler mapping proves be efficient recognizing alterations vascular hemodynamics. Therefore, objective present study was evaluate use renal hemodynamic bitches with mammary submitted adjuvant associate gemcitabine carboplatin. Thirteen were included, without distinction breed between seven 13 years age. The animals evaluated ultrasonographically at two different times during three consecutive cycles: before (T0) one a half hours after each cycle (T1), 42 days. No changes observed throughout protocol. However, velocimetry indices demonstrated statistical differences (T1) administration drugs. It concluded could method response exposed nephrotoxic potentially causing injury.
