B-21 | Coronary Angiography Within 30 days from Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery: Indications, Findings and Outcomes

The incidence, indications, and outcomes of coronary angiography performed within 30 days following artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) have received limited study. We reviewed patients who underwent CABG between April 2018 September 2021 at a large quaternary healthcare system. Of 2,209 during the study, 111 (5%) CABG: mean age was 65 ± 10 years they had high prevalence comorbidities. Graft utilization as follows: left internal mammary (LIMA) (84%), saphenous vein graft(s) (SVG) (81%), right (RIMA) (22%). most common presentations/indications for were cardiogenic shock (41%), STEMI (32%), achieving complete revascularization by PCI (16%) (Figure). LIMA, RIMA, or SVGs completely/partially occluded in 41 (44%), (42%), 11 (50%) patients, respectively. that angiography, 55 PCI: 47 (85%) to native vessel, 8 (15%) graft; 19 (17%) repeat sternotomy. Overall, 29 (26%) required 30-day readmission died. incidence is approximately 5%. Patients need complication rates (26% 17% mortality, respectively days).
