Küresel ?s?nma ve iklim de?i?ikli?i, kurakl??a, kas?rgalara, su bask?nlar?na, buzullar?n erimesine, deniz seviyelerinin yükselmesine tar?msal kirlenme gibi çevre sorunlar?na neden olmaktad?r. Gezegenimizin gelece?ini tehdit eden bu sorunlar?n?n, sadece bir k?ta veya ülke grubu ile s?n?rl? olmamas?, yani sorunlar?n?n anlamda küreselle?mesi, iklim, güvenlik kavramlar? aras?ndaki ili?kiyi somutla?t?rm??t?r. 
 k?tayla grubuyla kalmamas?, di?er deyi?le krizinin Çevre sorunlar? uluslararas? ili?kilerin en önemli gündem maddelerinden biri haline gelmi?tir.
 Bu kapsamda ili?kiler teorileri aras?nda yer alan ye?il teori, insan odakl? olmayan, de?i?ikli?i konular?n? da önceleyen yakla??m olarak geli?mi?tir. Günümüzde Avrupa Birli?i, geli?tirdi?i çevre, enerji politikalar? teorinin temel özelliklerine uygun perspektif ortaya koymaktad?r. ba?lamda Komisyonu’nun taraf?ndan sunulan Ye?il Mutabakat? teori yak?n ili?ki bulunmaktad?r. çal??mada ekseninde analiz edilerek, akademik literatüre katk? sa?lanmas? hedeflenmektedir. Çal??mada AB’nin siyasi, ekonomik ekolojik dönü?ümünde, ne ölçüde etkili oldu?u incelenmektedir.
