چکیده
Abstract Ryan Tonkens (2009) has issued a seemingly impossible challenge, to articulate comprehensive ethical framework within which artificial moral agents (AMAs) satisfy Kantian inspired recipe—"rational" and "free"—while also satisfying perceived prerogatives of machine ethicists facilitate the creation AMAs that are perfectly not merely reliably ethical. This series papers meets this challenge by landscaping traditional theory in resolution account agency. The first paper established set out autonomy Aristotelian terms. present interprets on basis preceding introduction, argues contra an engineer does violate categorical imperative creating AMAs, proposes AMA is only possible goal for Machine ethics research, but necessary one.

First, McDowell claims that agents can appeal to experience in order to formulate and recognize categorical imperatives. However, Kant strongly disagrees with this cl...
