AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL UTOPIA OF NATALIA ROMANOVYCH-TKACHENKO

The article is devoted to researching the work of N. Romanovych-Tkachenko, a representative generation female writers Soviet Ukraine in 1920s, from perspective gender discourse. Women's literature 1920s-1930s an understudied and not updated phenomenon Ukrainian literary process that time. Most texts women were unnoticed by critics, problems raised their turned out be "uninteresting" for then, generally male, critics. Instead, we note emergence new literature, formed only national tradition, but also first wave European feminism. They radicalize women's issue put forward other, unlike predecessors, aesthetic demands on artistic texts. At same time, it was who continued traditions modern particular bright individual writing. them told reader about biographies time form memories, diaries, memoirs. peculiarity these they reveal striking discrepancy between expectations policy Bolsheviks revolutionary, post-revolutionary reality. We can see two writer comparing autobiographical memories Romanovych-Tkachenko. One imaginary, constructed author basis her own life project, second real, as lived. These different genre forms are presented writer's work. Imaginary biography described experience characters fictional texts, while real represented memoir genre, particular, diaries memoirs author. difference scenarios shaped feminist outlook Romnovich-Tkachenko many other writers.
