Augmented EHR: Enrichment of EHR with Contents from Semantic Web Sources

This work presents methods to combine data from the Semantic Web into existing EHRs, leading an augmented EHR. An EHR extract is by combining it with additional information external sources, typically linked sources. The starting point a standardized described archetype. method consists of specific original contents source building semantic representation, which used query source. results are converted according sets foundations transform normalized extracts. Finally, exemplify approach, includes practical use case in summarized drug–drug interactions and disease-related treatment information.
