Augmentation of heat transfer in duct by staggered vortex generators

چکیده

A numerical simulation is performed to study the effect of two types vortex generators (VGs) on heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop in duct. There are V.G., one concave V.G. other rectangular. The aim observe effects shape arrangement this V.Gs channel increase with Reynolds number range from (300 1500). Both were placed 45o angle attack, an line staggered position. results shows that position gives high enhancement better than rectangular by 7-10%.
