چکیده
Attentional biases have been overlooked as a treatment focus in CBT practice. This pilot study examined patterns of attentional bias an OCD clinical sample with view to understanding the key mechanisms order inform assessment and intervention. It was hypothesised that individuals would demonstrate vigilance, delayed disengagement, maintenance towards OCD-related stimuli relative matched control group. Participants ( n = 16) were compared healthy controls by age gender. Vigilance, disengagement measured recording eye-movements during free gaze task which pairs neutral-OCD neutral-aversive images presented. The group demonstrated no evidence vigilance or toward but did exhibit and, lesser extent, general aversive images. Clinical implications include patient aid interventions.

Obsessive-compulsive symptoms and attentional bias: An eye-tracking methodology.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Cognitive models suggest that attentional biases are integral in the maintenance of obsessive-compulsive symptoms (OCS). Such biases have been established experimentally in anxiety disorders; however, the evidence is unclear in Obsessive Compulsive disorder (OCD). In the present study, an eye-tracking methodology was employed to explore attentional biases in relation t...

متن کاملInvestigation of Attentional Bias in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder with and without Depression in Visual Search
Whether Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is associated with an increased attentional bias to emotive stimuli remains controversial. Additionally, it is unclear whether comorbid depression modulates abnormal emotional processing in OCD. This study examined attentional bias to OC-relevant scenes using a visual search task. Controls, non-depressed and depressed OCD patients searched for their p...

Introduction: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a disabling mental condition that its proteomic profiling is not yet investigated. Proteomics is a valuable tool to discover biomarker approaches. It can be helpful to detect protein expression changes in complex disorders such as OCD. Methods: Here, by the application of 2D gel electrophoresis (2DE), a pilot study of serum proteome profile ...
