Integrals involving complete elliptic integrals
We give a closed-form evaluation of a number of Erd elyi-Kober fractional integrals involving elliptic integrals of the rst and second kind, in terms of the 3F2 generalized hypergeometric function. Reduction formulae for 3F2 enable us to simplify the solutions for a number of particular cases. c © 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
متن کاملAsymptotic Expansions of Multiple Integrals of Rapidly Oscillating Functions
Expansions of multiple integrals w(aixi,.. .,anxn)g(xi,... ,x„)dxi ■ ■ -dxn, r°i r°n I " Ja\ J a„ where w is a function on R" which is (bk oj,)-periodic in the fcth variable, k = 1,... ,n, and g is smooth, are given in terms of negative powers of the integers o\,.. .,an. Estimates of the remainder term in the expansion are also given. Introduction. Let w be a function with integrable pth power ...
متن کاملSome Integrals Involving Bessel Functions Some Integrals Involving Bessel Functions
A number of new definite integrals involving Bessel functions are presented. These have been derived by finding new integral representations for the product of two Bessel functions of different order and argument in terms of the generalized hypergeometric function with subsequent reduction to special cases. Connection is made with Weber's second exponential integral and Laplace transforms of pr...
متن کاملEvaluation of some integrals of sums involving the Möbius function
Integrals of sums involving the Möbius function appear in a variety of problems. In this paper, a divergent integral related to several important properties of the Riemann zeta function is evaluated computationally. The order of magnitude of this integral appears to be compatible with the Riemann hypothesis, and furthermore the value of the multiplicative constant involved seems to be the small...
متن کاملEvaluation of Integrals of Howland Type Involving a Bessel Function
This paper presents a method of evaluation of four integrals of Howland type, which involve a Bessel function in the integrands. With the aid of tabulated values, they are evaluated to 10D. Two of the four Howland integrals needed in the evaluation are evaluated anew to 20D in order to provide adequate accuracy. In a recent investigation of certain problems in elasticity concerning elliptic bou...
